Books 5, 6, 7, and 8

Odysseus, Athena, and Nausicaa

Before Tuesday's  presentation by Kenny, Tiffany, Katherine S., and Melida post all your
thoughts, observations, and questions about the books which follow "The Telemachy." What do you think of Odysseus' behavior? How do you feel about Homer having Odysseus take over the narration of his own story?

  1. Do we all have to answer the two questions? or just Kenny, Tiffany, Katherine and Medina?

  2. I guess you or your computers lost power. How sad. I hope you enjoy and learn from tomorrow's presentation. Please use the PRESENTATION GRADING RUBRIC FORMS thoughtfully and be sure to hand them in after the presentation, at the end of the period.

  6. Also to answer your questions, I feel as though characters in this book have talked pretty high and mighty of Odysseus, and now that we have indeed are going through Odyssesus own narration, we as the audience are beging to question wheither or not Odysseus was a great man or not. Its very interesting to see Odysseus Hubris and to see that Athena compares herself to him.

  7. While you was gone Mr.Balgley, Victor recorded all most of the presentations, which was this group. But overall they did a great job.
    Questions-
What do you think of Odysseus' behavior?
-I think Odysseus is very stubborn. He likes everything his way.

How do you feel about Homer having Odysseus take over the narration of his own story?
    - I agree with raymond, Homer having Odysseus take over the narration of his own story the audience are beging to question whether or not Odysseus was a great man or not.
